The higlighter in this period becomes our best friend and I've been trying these two ones that I really like.

Do not expect an amazing INCI and if you want something completely green these are not for you (despite Maybelline's quotes MINERAL).

Non aspettavi degli inci favolosi e quindi se state cercando qualcosa di bio questi che vi mostrerò non fanno per voi (nonostante su quello di Maybelline ci sia scritto minerale!)

How to: contouring and highlighting

Hello ladies!
Today I want to give you a little suggestion about something that was completely unknown when I started to interest in the magic world of make up.

I cannot teach you anything because there's a lot of people who know more and more than me, I'd just like to give you other information in case you haven't get yet about contouring and highlighting.
First: do not use any glittering shade (but if you would like to have shimmer forehead, chin and nose do it xD ). If you want to use glittering shades, apply these only in the cheek area. 2-3 shades darker and lighter liquid foundation would work the best!
Second: make sure you have blended everything perfectly and don't worry if you look like having ah highway on the face because once blended the effect will become natural :D the better effect comes with a stippling brush or a flatbuki brush!

Oggi vorrei darvi qualche piccolo suggerimento su qualcosa che appena ho cominciato a truccarmi non conoscevo per niente.
Non ho la presunzione di insegnarvi niente perchè ci sono persone che ne sanno molto più di me...mi piacerebbe solo darvi qualche piccola informazione nel caso non foste già informate sull'argomento.

Primo: non usate terre, illuminanti con brillantini se non volete che i vostri naso, mento e fronte luccichino alla luce del sole!Se proprio volete usarli applicateli solo nell'area delle guance. Fondotinta liquidi di 2-3 toni più chiari e più scuri sarebbero l'ideale!

Secondo: assicuratevi di aver sfumato tutto per bene e non vi preoccupate se all'inizio vi sembra di avere un'autostrada sulla faccia. Una volta sfumato bene l'effetto sarà molto naturale :D
Otterrete un miglior risultato sfumando con uno stippling brush o un flatbuki.

Tag: the worst celebrities' make up disasters

Hello ladies!
How many times have we looked at the pictures of famous actresses and singers on the red carpet and thought how perfect they were!?Confess!!!!A LOT...RIGHT?

They are always followed by personal assistants, haidressers, make up artists who fix them everytime they need to make them look perfect but...sometimes I see some pictures and I feel lucky to have a good sense of reality providing my make up by myself...
Maybe the looks I am going to show you hide a message the make up artist or the celebrity wants to communicate...but for now the only message I can take is to buy a bigger mirror, or some mirrors more to realize what's happening on our faces (and better...more white lights in the house!).

I have seen many tags like this but related to fashion, so I decided to continue this tradition but on the make up side. I am sure someone before my initiative started this tag too, but I want to repeat  it to know what you think and to read you posts and opinions :D

Quante volte abbiamo guardato le foto di celebrità sul red carpet e abbaimo pensato quanto fossero perfette.Confessate!UN SACCO...VERO??? Sono sempre seguire da assistenti personali, parrucchieri personali, make up artist personali il cui unico scopo è renderle perfette ogni volta che ne hanno bisgono...ma a volte vedo delle immagini e sono contenta di avere un bun senso della realtà, provvedendo da me al mio make up.

Forse questi trucchi nascono un messaggio particolare che il make up artist o il soggetto vogliono comunicare..ma l'unico messaggio che ho colto è stato quello di comprare uno specchio più grande o comprare più specchi, così da realizzare cosa sta accadendo sulla propria faccia (o ancora meglio, comprare più luci bianche in casa!).

Ho visto molti tag come questo ma riferiti alla moda, così ho voluto continuare la tradizione dal lato però del make up. Sono sicura che molte persone prima di me abbiano già fatto un post del genere, ma sono curiosa di leggere le vostre opinioni e i vostri post :D

NOTD: Think Pink!

This is today's nail polish!I don't like to have many glitters on all my nails so I decided to change just the ring finger, also adding a big pink diamond (auhauahuah diamond????I took it from a 2 euros classic wheel xD). The truth is that I wanted to try my new Essence glue pen...I must confess!

Here there are all the products I used (please be gentle...I know I am not the best al applying EVERY nail polish xD ). Base, two coats of pink and top coat (except for the ring finger where I added a coat of glitter nail polish before)...I am very lazy as regards nails and I hope this will resist at least 4-5 days :D . Anyway I will let you know!

Queste sono le mie unghie di oggi!Non mi piace avere glitterini vari su ogni singola unghia, per questo ho deciso di optare solo per l'anulare, aggiungendoci anche un piccolo brillantino (che sono riuscita a tradurre solo con DIAMOND...ma quale diamante che l'ho preso nella ruota da 2 euro con tutti gli altri colori!!!!)

Comunque la verità è che volevo disperatamente provare la penna con la colla di essence...ok lo confesso!

Qui ci sono tutti i prodotti che ho usato (siate clementi...lo so che non sono proprio una cima nell'applicazione dello smalto!!!). Base, due passate di rosa e top coat (tranne che per l'anulare dove prima c'è stata una passata di glitter)...sono estremamente pigra per quanto riguarda le unghie e quindi spero che resistano almeno per 4-5 giorni!Vi farò sapere comunque!

Today I want to talk about (talk??WRITE!) this palette. I know it's been a long time since Christmas when it was launched for the first time, but I tried and tried and tried and tried to give it a chance...it always failed   =(

I tried these eyeshadows with 3 different bases but there's no way!

I bought it when there was the 20% discount on the entire webiste so I paid it 8 euros thinking it was very useful on holiday to carry with just some liners and mascara...naaaaa!

They are not pigmented, they are not bright, they are mealy...I wasted 8 euros, I have to say that!I don't also like they're 1,70 refill, they are the same!

The only eyeshadows I'd save from the entire webiste are the mineral ones (actually I like quite all their mineral line!). 3,50 euros for 0.85 gr of product it's a very good compromise in my opinion and their pigmentation is much much much better!

So, get a pizza with these 10 euros!Of course this my own personal opinion :D

Oggi vorrei parlarvi (parlarvi???SCRIVERVI!) di questa palette. Lo so che è passato un sacco di tempo da quando questa palette è stata messa sul sito intorno a Natale però ci ho provato e riprovato a darle qualche possibilità ma niente!

La acquistai con il 20% di sconto sull'intero sito per cui la pagai all'ecpoca 8 euro pensando fosse davvero comoda per i viaggi, da portare solo con qualche matita e mascara...naaaa!

I colori non sono pigmentati, non sono brillanti, sono farinosi...ho buttato 8 euro, lo devo dire!Non mi piacciono nemmeno le cialdine da 1,70 perchè sono identiche!

Gli unici Ombretti della elf che mi piacciono sono quelli minerali (in effetti mi piace quasi tutta la loro linea minerale!). 3,50 euro per .85 grammi di prodotto credo siano abbastanza e la loro pigmentazione è moooooooolto meglio!

Perciò ragazze mie...compratevi una pizza con quei 10 euro!Ovviamente questa è la mia personale opinione!

Don't be afraid to REMOVE

Hello ladies!

Summer is coming with all its powerful sunlight and hot temperature...so, if we don't want sweaty panda eyes, as I say, we need waterproof make up to be sure people will look straight to our eyes for the right reason ;)

The problem is: how to remove it?There has to be the right makeup remover and I think I've found the best copromise at the moment: Sephora's waterproof make up remover.

As every make up remover it's made up of two parts, the oily one and the water-based one and you need to shake it before the use to mix them. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it hasn't given me any kind of problem. It removes perfectly all my eyeliner and mascara and you need 5-6 drops per eye on every remover disk.

It costs 3,90 euros for 50 ml and it will last for more than a month surely (or for all the summer???) :D

L'estate sta arrivando con tutti i suoi potentissimi raggi e con le sue temperature tropicali...per cui, se non vogliamo degli occhi sudaticci da panda, come dico sempre, abbiamo bisogno di un bel trucco waterproof per essere sicure che la gente ci quardi negli occhi per il motivo giusto!

Il problema è: come toglierlo?Ci deve essere lo struccante giusto e credo di aver trovato un buon compromesso al momento: struccante waterproof by Sephora!

Come ogni struccante waterproof è composto da due fasi: quella acquosa e quella oleosa e ovviamente dovete agitarlo un pò prima dell'uso per avere una momentanea unica fase da utilizzare per struccarvi. Lo sto usando da un paio di settimane e non mi ha dato nessun tipo di problema. Rimuove perfettamente tutto il mio eyeliner e mascara e avete bisogno di 5-6 gocce per ogni occhio sui vostri discetti struccanti.

Costa 3,90 per 50 ml e vi durerà per più di un mese sicuramente (o per tutta l'estate???) :D

TRY, BELIEVE, LOVE (and cover) with bare minerals!

Today I want to share with you my favourite foundation for the summer: bare minerals foundation!

The exams are coming and I had a desperate need to post !To be precise something which had nothing to do with those horrible books!

Before buying the standard jar (which is not very affordable) I wanted to try this kit:

Oggi voglio condividere con voi la scoperta del mio fondotinta preferito per l'estate: bare minerals fondontinta minerale (ma dai???davvero???è minerale???) xD

Gli esami si stanno avvicinando e avevo un disperato bisogno di postare qualcosa!Per essere precisi qualcosa che non avesse neinte a che fare con quei libri orribili!

Prima di comprare la jar standard (non molto economica in effetti) volevo provare questo kit:

Shade: medium

What to say???It's AMAZING!I was suspicious because generally mineral foundations have a veeeery light coverage, and it was not the best solution for my skin, always annoyed by a mix of different imperfections!I had to change my mind because it has a coverage I had never expected from a mineral foundation. 

Of course there are no red points in its INCI so you can sleep well ;)

Furthermore I have to say my imperfections are notably reduced...of course I know it's not due to the foundation but I'm sure this is a factor too...you will not fill your pores with silicons and other craps and your skin will be safe under the sun thanks to the SPF 15 :D

Remember to apply your favourite moisturizer or it will fade away in one minute!

There are 3 shades: light, medium, dark.

The kit costs 19 euro and you can find it at every Sephora's. It contains:

 - 2 mineral foundation jars of 0,75 gr each (a lighter and a darker...but the difference is not so evident, it depends on your undertone!)

- mineral veil jar (to set you make up once finished) of 0.57 gr

- mini brush

- warmth all-over face color jar of 0,28 gr (this a very important piece of the kit because you can use it to contour or to make your foundation darker, so don't we worried if you think you've bought a too light shade because it will fix all you problems and it's super pigmented!)

Beh che dire?Fantastico!All'inizio ero diffidente perchè si sa che generalmente i fondi minerali non hanno questa gran coprenza.Alla fine ho dovuto ricredermi perchè ha una coprenza che non mi sarei mai aspettata da un fondotinta minerale.

Ovviamente l'inci non ha nemmeno un pallino rosso quindi potete dormire sonni tranquilli :D

Inoltre devo dire che le mie imperfezioni si sono notevolmente ridotte...lo so che non è da attribuire al fondo minerale, però secondo me anche quello conta...comunque non andrete a riempire i vostri poveri pori con siliconi e altre schifezze!Inoltre la vostra pelle sarà al sicuro anche sotto i raggi del sole grazie alla protezione SPF 15 :D

Ricordate di applicare una crema idratante o sparirà nel giro di UN MINUTO!

Ci sono tre tonalità: light, medium e dark.

Questo kit costa 19 euro e lo potete trovare in tutte le Sephora. Contiene:

- 2 jar da 75 grammi di fondo minerale (i colori sono leggermente diversi ma dipende dal vostro sottotono)

- 1 jar di mineral veil (che serve per fissare il tutto)

- un piccolo pennellino

- 1 warmth (che io utilizzo anche come blush ma che in realtà serve per scurire il vostro fondotinta, quindi se pensate di aver preso una tonalità troppo chiara con questo potrete subito rimediare!Andateci piano però perchè è super-pigmentato!)

Fatemi sapere che pensate!

P.S. the kit showed above contains 2 matte foundation jars, instead this one below contains a glowy and a matte foundation, so pay attention to the box :D

P.S. il kit che ho mostrato sopra contiene 2 fondotinta matte, invece questo qui sotto ne contiene uno con effetto luminoso (microglitterini all'interno) e un altro matte, quindi fate attenzione alla scatola :D
